Mitsu Okada (1902-1905)
Miss Mitsu Okada studied as a special student at Wellesley College for three years, from 1902-1905. She had been a teacher at Jokoshi (Normal School for Women) in Tokyo, and was sent by the government to study English language and literature abroad.
