Salary Structure
A salary structure reflects the responsibilities and requirements of jobs in relation to one another (internal equity), and in relation to comparable jobs in the external labor market (market competitiveness). We developed our updated staff salary structure with support from external subject matter experts, leveraging our role documents, external market data, and compensation philosophy guiding principles.

To find your Salary Grade in Workday, click View Profile (top right), then select the Compensation tab under your Profile page.
Aligning Staff to the Salary Structure
Staff are aligned to the salary structure through a four-step process. All staff roles at Wellesley College have been slotted into the updated structure according to this process.
Note: Individual compensation can and should differ across staff based on key factors such as performance, experience, specialization, and proficiency level within the job.
