Steps for Staff Recruitment and Hiring

When a position becomes vacant or a new position is created, please follow the steps outlined below. For assistance with the hiring process, contact working@wellesley.edu.

As part of Wellesley College’s Position Management Process, the Provost Budget Committee (PBC) reviews all FTE growth and headcount requests to ensure workforce alignment with strategic goals. Position requests are reviewed weekly by Human Resources and the Budget Office. For more details and access to the PBC request form, please visit the Position Management webpage.
