Flower Sunday

The Office of Religious and Spiritual Life invites you to join us at one of our most special events. Dating back to 1875, Flower Sunday is the oldest tradition at Wellesley.

Incoming students are matched with a Wellesley Big Sibling. Little Siblings receive flowers from their Big as an "official" welcome into the community, and they come together at Houghton Chapel for a multifaith gathering.

This celebration of the new academic year is a day of siblinghood that features a multicultural and multifaith pageantry of song, music, poetry, dance and student speakers. Join us in welcoming the incoming class to our wonderful community!
