How do I apply?

Detailed instructions on the application process can be found here.

Can I take a summer class if I'm participating in summer research?

No. Summer research participation is a full-time commitment, and you will need to be available to work during hours that work for your entire research group. Therefore, you will need to commit (honor code) to participating only in summer research if you apply. This applies to courses offered at Wellesley or at other institutions. The exception is the Quantitative Analysis Institute Program.

Can I take another job while participating in summer research?

No. Because summer research is a compensated program, you cannot take another job while doing summer research.

Can I participate in the Quantitative Analysis Institute Summer Program 2025 while participating in the program?

Yes. You can participate in the Quantitative Analysis Institute Summer Program. If you are interested in participating in this course, speak with your faculty supervisor. Please contact Cassey Pattanayak at cpattanayak@wellesley.edu for more information about the course.
