Residence Hall Renovations
The residence halls on campus will be renovated over the next 10 years. Each building will be under construction over two summers, allowing use and occupancy during the academic year. A summary of upgrades includes:
• New heating system for better comfort and to meet energy / GHG goals of campus
• New plumbing lines with bathroom and kitchenette upgrades
• Electrical wiring upgrades
• ADA access upgrades, full at some halls and partial at others
• Exterior masonry and roofing repairs
• Interior upgrades to paint, flooring, and lighting
How will this impact our campus?
There will be no impact during the academic year, with the exception of occasional visits to the building for space measurements.The buildings will be offline during the construction (typically late May through mid August), and there will be construction traffic and noise in and around the buildings under construction.
