Multifaith Community

Multifaith Community

The Multifaith Community (MFC) is an open, inclusive community which welcomes students, faculty, and staff of diverse religious, spiritual, and secular identities. We gather weekly during the Fall and Spring semesters for nourishing conversations about spirituality, religious holidays and the threads of meaning which flow through each of our lives.

The MFC is dedicated to fostering intentional interfaith dialogue and constructive engagement with internal and external conflict. We hold conversations about life’s big questions of purpose, meaning, and faith in a spirit of open-heartedness and compassionate curiosity.

Through our weekly Thursday Lunch Conversations (TLC) and additional educational programming, the MFC strives to:

  • Build relationships and community (both among MFC members and with other groups on campus)
  • Share the diversity of our religious and spiritual traditions with each other and the wider campus
  • Create a campus-wide culture welcoming of spirituality, rooted in understanding, community, purpose, and compassion

The MFC meets weekly during community time on Thursdays in the Multifaith Center (bottom floor of the Chapel). Please join us; come as you are! If you are interested in being added to our e-mailing list, please contact us.
