The Wellesley College Police operates a shuttle van on a scheduled route from 6:00 pm until 2:00 am, Friday and Saturday ONLY.
After 2:00 am police officers will provide walking or driving escort. The Shuttle Van makes pre-designated stops along a route.

One Cards

The OneCard Office is located at the lobby of Wellesley College Police and Public Safety (WCPPS) Department.

The Wellesley OneCard is issued to all students, faculty, and staff. The multifunction OneCard is both an identification card, which authenticates the holder for certain transactions, and an electronic "key", which authorizes access to specific College facilities.

The cards can currently be used for:

  • Identification
  • Meal plan transactions (contact Wellesleyfresh@wellesley.edu or 781-283-2297 to add points to your OneCard)
  • Library checkout
  • Door Access

Student workers are available to print new/updated OneCards (including new hires needing a photo) at the WCPPS Department between the hours of 9 am to 9 pm  on Monday - Friday, and 4 pm – 9 pm on weekends(*depending upon staffing). OneCard manager is also available 9am – noon and 1pm – 3pm.  Temporary cards may be created by students and Dispatchers during normal business hours, after hours, and on weekends for community members who have lost their OneCard.

Students will be charged $10 to their Student Account for a lock out fee.

Lost and Found

Lost and Found

Wellesley College Police and Public Safety (WCPPS) is the central repository for valuables found by members of the Wellesley College community. Our Property Control function keeps items safe and secure and we proactively work to return belongings to their owners in a prompt manner when feasible.

If you have lost an item, please email us at lostandfound@wellesley.edu for assistance. You can also call us at 781.283.2121.

If you find a lost item in a Wellesley College facility, please turn the item into a uniformed Campus Police Officer or bring the item directly to the lobby at WCCPS headquarters located in Davis Parking Garage.

Please note that items received by Lost and Found will be kept by WCPPS for a minimum of 30 days, after which they will be removed from inventory and either discarded or donated to a local charity.

  • Flammable items (lighters, vape pens, etc.)
  • Small recreational items (soccer balls, frisbees, baseballs, etc.)
  • Personal grooming items (combs, brushes, bows, ribbons, scrunchies, etc.)
  • Intentionally abandoned property (electronic equipment that obviously does not work, damaged furniture, items placed by trash containers for disposal, etc.)
  • Umbrellas

Fingerprinting services are available at WCPPS to employees and students of Wellesley College.

  • Appointments for fingerprinting at WCPPS may be scheduled via email to wcpps@wellesley.edu
  • Walk-ins are welcome 
  • Best time to come: Between 9AM and 4PM 
  • Be prepared to wait
