Emergency Notification
EWellesley College takes campus safety and security seriously. As such, the College is excited to announce that it has recently partnered with Rave Mobile Safety to deliver emergency alerts and weather-related school closures to the campus community.
In the event of an emergency, the Wellesley community will be notified in various ways, including through text messages, email, and phone calls. Emails will come from “WC BlueAlert” and phone calls will come from 781-283-1000 and text messages will come from “WC Alert” with a five-digit number that will change with different alerts. These notifications use your College email address and the Primary Home Phone Number in Workday for text messages (if they are mobile phones) and phone calls. It is important for you to review this information periodically and keep them updated to receive notifications in case of an emergency. Please see the documentation here on how to update this information in Workday.
