Hi! I graduated from Wellesley with a Neuroscience degree in 2012. During my time in the Tetel lab, I investigated the role of membrane estrogen receptors on downstream protein expression. Currently, I am an MD-PhD candidate at the University of Minnesota. I am completing my dissertation work in the graduate program of neuroscience examining the role of astrocytes in drug seeking behavior.
My career goal as a physician-scientist is to investigate neuropsychiatric disorders at the cellular and neural circuit level to advance our understanding of the disease process and develop more efficacious treatment options for patients.
