The Durant Society
The College gratefully acknowledges the outstanding support of leading donors in a given fiscal year through membership in the Durant Society, named for Wellesley's founders, Henry and Pauline Durant. We invite you to become a first-time Durant Society donor or renew your commitment this year and every year. The Society has four giving levels, with adjusted amounts for recent alumnae:
President's Circle Benefactor: $25,000+
President's Circle: $10,000 to $24,999
Dean's Circle: $5,000 to $9,999
Supporter: $2,500 to $4,999
Supporter, Graduate of the last six to 10 years: $1,000
Supporter, Graduate of the last one to five years: $500
As an expression of the College's appreciation, Durant Society members receive unique annual benefits including:
- Seasonal issues of The Lamppost, an e-newsletter featuring stories about the impact of donor support on campus an in the world.
- Invitations to exclusive virtual, local, and regional events with member of the College's Senior Leadership.
- Access to on-campus events with Wellesley students, such as the Tanner and Ruhlman conferences.
- Special events and recognition during reunion weekend.
Your Durant Society membership and benefits will be active from the date of your gift through the end of the current fiscal year. Wellesley's fiscal year runs from July 1 through June 30. Consider giving early in the fiscal year to maximize your annual benefits!
