Risk Management Guides for Field Trips
In order to mitigate the risks involved with faculty and staff members leading students, either individually or in groups, on Wellesley College sponsored or funded field trips off campus, the Office of Risk Management and Compliance created two guidance documents.
The Wellesley College Risk Management Guide for Academic Field Trips is recommended for faculty or staff trip leaders who are planning course related activities which serve an educational purpose and occur off campus.
The Wellesley College Risk Management Guide for Voluntary Field Trips is recommended for faculty or staff trip leaders who are planning off campus activities funded or sponsored by Wellesley College but not eligible for academic credit.
