Located in the Margaret Clapp Library, the PLTC plays a significant role in supporting the intellectual life of both students and faculty on the Wellesley campus.  The mission of the Center is to provide students with a variety of programs and services designed to help them realize their academic potential and to give faculty members the opportunity to explore issues in higher education, teaching methodologies and the academic culture of Wellesley College.

Tutoring is the heart of the Center's academic support services.  The PLTC offers a variety of tutorial programs focused on individualized peer tutoring, supplemental instruction and study skills instruction.  Peer tutors and PLTC staff help students build on their academic strengths, overcome difficulties, and develop strategies for academic success.
