Curriculum Review Process
The Committee on Curriculum and Academic Policy (CCAP) is responsible for reviewing the curriculum and academic policies at Wellesley College.
Each year the curriculum of every department and program is reviewed. Initially the curriculum and any changes proposed for the upcoming academic year, are reviewed by the department/program and a CCAP member designated as a liaison to the department/program. The CCAP liaison then presents the department/program's curriculum to the entire committe. CCAP discusses the department/program comprehensively, including all new course proposals. The CCAP approved curriculum is then presented by the committee to the Academic Council for motion and vote.
