iDVD has been officially discontinued by Apple. It is still installed on campus Mac computers, but it may not be available on your personal computer.
iDVD is an application that allows users to burn customized DVDs of their video files and other media.
NOTE: Many newer Mac computers on campus, such as those in the Knapp Center on the 1st floor of the Clapp Library, do not have built-in DVD drives. To burn a DVD using one of these computers, users will have to bring an external optical drive with them. Depending on availability, it may be possible to borrow an external optical drive from the Clapp Desk. See here for information about equipment borrowing.
