Tana D. Ruegamer
Director and International Student and Scholar AdvisorTana Ruegamer joined Slater in 2018. She is responsible for immigration and cultural adjustment related advising, advocating for the needs of international students and scholars, and helping Wellesley's international population understand and comply with various and ever-changing immigration regulations. Tana comes to Wellesley from Harvard University's International Office as an advisor to students and scholars. Previously, she worked at Bentley University's Center for International Students and Scholars as the Assistant Director and as an adjunct lecturer in the Global Studies Department and at Boston University in the International Students and Scholars Office.
She was selected to participate in the Fulbright International Education Administrators Program (IEA) to South Korea in 2011. Currently, she is an adjunct faculty member at Lesley University where she teaches a graduate course focusing on international student services.
Tana graduated with a Master of Arts in Intercultural Relations from Lesley University in 2005 and recently completed a graduate certificate in organizational Behavior from the Harvard University Extension School.
In her spare time, she coaches adult salsa dancing classes at a studio in Cambridge.
