Ana Luisa (they/she) is a Wellesley alum who returned to campus in the summer of 2023 to join the staff in the Office of Intercultural Education. They provide administrative and organizational support to the Cultural Deans, assisting with program planning and execution.
Alma brings to the Office of Intercultural Education over 20 years of office management experience. She recently retired from the office manager position at Wellesley College Counseling Service department. Alma provided management support to the Treasury and Financial Services at McKesson Corporation, a global pharmaceutical solutions and distribution leader. She also served in various senior administrative roles in the nonprofit sector and banking industry. She is an appointed Massachusetts Notary Public and a member of the National Notary Association.
Patty Birch (she/her) is the Assistant Dean for Intercultural Education, Director of Harambee House, and Advisor for Students of African Descent who joined Wellesley College in Spring 2021. Patty comes to us with 10+ years of experience in student affairs, academic advising, social work, career, and diversity education. She defines herself as people-oriented, a self-starter, and dedicated to the service of others.
Inés Maturana Sendoya, (She/Her/Hers) the Associate Dean of Students for Inclusion and Engagement, joined Wellesley College in 2018. In that capacity she provides direction and supervision for the staff and programs of the following departments: Office of Intercultural Education including the Assistant Deans of Intercultural Education and advisors for students of African descent, Asian descent, and Latinx students and providing oversight of
