Documentation on using the AnyConnect Client directly, instead of through the website.

 

Windows

 

Install the AnyConnect Client

  1. Download the AnyConnect Client from Google Drive.
    • You will need to login to your Wellesley Google account to download.
  2. Launch the anyconnect.msi installer.
  3. Click through the installer (Next > Agree, Next > Install).
  4. When the install has completed, click Finish.
     

Using the AnyConnect Client

  1. Go to Start > All Programs > Cisco and launch the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client.
  2. In the VPN: field, type  vpn.wellesley.edu/secure  and click Connect.
  3. Enter your Domain Account in the popup window and click OK.
  4. You are now connected to the Secure SSL VPN. A globe with a lock will appear in the notification area:

Install the AnyConnect Client

  1. Download the AnyConnect Client from Google Drive.
    • You will need to login to your Wellesley Google account to download.
  2. Open the anyconnect.dmg file to mount the disk image.
  3. Inside the disk image, double-click on AnyConnect to start the install.
  4. Click Continue, Continue, Agree, Continue, Install.
  5. Login with the account used to login to your computer.
  6. When the install finishes, click Close.
  7. You can now close, unmount, and delete the installer.
     

Using the AnyConnect Client

  1. Go to your Applications folder, Cisco folder, and launch the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client.
    • You can also type AnyConnect in Spotlight and launch it from there.
  2. In the VPN: field, type  vpn.wellesley.edu/secure  and click Connect.
  3. Enter your Domain Account in the popup window and click OK.
  4. You are now connected to the Secure SSL VPN. A globe with a lock will appear in the menubar, and the AnyConnect icon in the dock will now have a lock next to it:
