The Hardware Replacement Policy outlines the College-owned computer replacement cycle. LTS staff will consult with you to determine the appropriate hardware configuration to suit your needs.
See the list of standard and specialized configuration computer models here.
Faculty and staff are strongly encouraged to purchase computing hardware through LTS to maximize support during the computer’s life cycle (typically 4 years). Support for hardware purchased outside of LTS, with or without College funds, will be limited per the Hardware Replacement Policy. To order a non-standard configuration, please use the LTS Computing Purchase Request Form.
Software Installation
If after consulting with LTS staff you select an advanced configuration or due to special software needs would prefer not to receive our standard software image, LTS will arrange to custom install core College-licensed software onto your new computer and provide you with self installation instructions for other standard applications.
