General

Microphones

The podium microphone is turned off with a gray button at the stem of the microphone.  The lavaliere or handheld microphones are located in the pullout drawer in the equipment rack and can be turned on as needed.

Volume/Mute

Use the Volume knob located on the Luxman amplifier in the equipment rack.

AV Controls

The Crestron Touch-Screen Panel is next to the room light controls by the equipment rack.  Touch the screen to activate and choose your source (e.g., DVD, VHS, PC, Laptop).

AV Controls

  • Use the Extron wall panel to operate projection screen and choose sources.
  • Video source remotes located on the instructor desk.
  • Additional wireless keyboard and mouse located on seminar table.

AV Controls

  • Extron wall panel operates projection screen.
  • Video source remotes located in the rack's remote control bin or on seminar table.
  • Wireless keyboard and mouse located on shelf in the equipment rack or seminar table.
Volume/Mute
 
Rotate the knob Volume Dial on the Extron wall panel.
 

Wireless Microphone

  • Locate the wireless microphone in the equipment rack's drawer.
  • Confirm the microphone itself is on.  Use the rack's volume control dial to adjust the volume.

Laser Pointer

The SONY remote has a built-in laser pointer.  Press the Laser button on the remote to emit the laser beam.

Volume/Mute

Volume can be adjusted two ways:

  • Use the SONY remote's volume buttons (+ or -).  To mute picture and/or sound, press Audio or Picture.  Press again to restore picture and/or sound.
  • The equipment rack has a volume control that should be turned clockwise to increase volume.

AV Controls

  • Use the SONY Projector remote located on top of the equipment rack to turn the projector on/off.
  • Use the gray Extron box on the instructor table to change computer source.
  • Use the switcher on the equipment rack to switch between computer and VCR.
