Novelist Elizabeth Graver will read from and discuss her novel in progress, a genre-crossing text based on the migration story of her Sephardic grandmother, whose life path took her from Turkey, to Spain, to Cuba, and finally to New York. Graver will read an excerpt from the novel, discuss her research process, and share some of the family photographs that play a central role in the book.
