The red class of 1992 held its commencement exercises on May 29, 1992.
Addressing the graduates, their friends and families, and the Wellesley community were Emily Courtois Mason ’92, student speaker; Hillary Rodham Clinton ’69, attorney, first lady of Arkansas, and commencement speaker; and Wellesley College President Nan Keohane ’61, who introduced "fellow Arkansan" Clinton and later offered a charge to the senior class.
Clinton had given the first student commencement speech at Wellesley when she graduated in 1969.
