Sara Squeglia

Dean of Class of 2027, 2026, 2025 (A-F)
Sara Squeglia, Dean of the Class of 2027, 2026, 2025 A-F, joined the Class Deans' Office in November of 2021. Dean Squeglia provides support to Wellesley students as they navigate and achieve their academic and personal goals. Prior to joining the Wellesley community, Dean Squeglia served as an undergraduate advisor to thousands of students at various institutions, including: Simmons University, Brandeis University, and Boston College. She loves to be outside, especially during the New England fall, and you might find her enjoying a long stroller walk on campus with her son or very excitedly discussing academic pathways with current and former students.
 
Dean Squeglia holds a B.A. in Sociology and a B.A. in Women's and Gender Studies from Providence College, and a M.A. in Higher Education, Student Affairs from Boston College. Originally from New Haven, Dean Squeglia has lived in New England her whole life, aside from an incredible study abroad experience in Florence, Italy. Dean Squeglia is currently pursuing her PhD in Educational Studies with a research focus on the well-being and retention of student affairs professionals and how these factors impact the college student experience.
