Join other first-years in courses designed especially for you, where you will not only be introduced to a topic that your instructor is passionate about, but also learn the nuts and bolts of how college courses work. A seminar offers active learning in a more intimate environment. In Wellesley's first-year seminars, you can tackle more advanced topics than in a typical first-year course, build connections to faculty and other first-year students, and develop the critical and creative thinking skills essential to flourishing in college.
