Not driving your own car to Wellesley? Not to worry.
There are numerous public and private means to get to campus. The Wellesley Square Commuter Rail stop (on the Framingham/Worcester line) is located in the Vil; the Woodland stop (on the Green line of the MBTA subway system) is a few miles away, and the MetroWest Regional Transit Authority (Route 8) stops right on campus.

Student Options (Wellesley ID Required)
Wellesley students have more regular and reliable access to resources and entertainment in the Greater Boston area than any other suburban campus. That's thanks to the College's own transportation and Boston's public transit system. In addition to the above resources, Wellesley students can use the following.
The MIT Exchange and Senate buses run hourly on weekdays and even more frequently on weekends to locations in Cambridge and downtown Boston. The Wellesley-Olin-Babson shuttle and Natick Movie-Mall shuttle, which take you to other schools and attractions in the area, also pick up a minute's walk from the residence halls. For more info and real-time updates, check the Transportation Web page, or call the Transportation hotline at 781.283.2318.
