“Everybody can be great because anybody can serve.” –Martin Luther King Jr.

Celebrate the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. by joining students and alumnae across the United States for the MLK Day of Service. Now in its 25th year, the MLK Day of Service challenges us to spend the day making an impact on our communities through volunteering.

Over the weekend, many Wellesley students answered this call as they began weeklong Wintersession Alternative Breaks through Wellesley’s Career Education. This year, students are serving in communities across the Northeast, including Bangor, Maine; New York City; and Boston.
