Davis Museum Summer Film Series Presents “Back to the Future”
Wellesley’s Davis Museum invites the campus and neighboring community to hop into a DeLorean and blast off to the Davis plaza on July 11, where its fourth annual summer film series continues with a free outdoor screening of the 1985 classic Back to the Future.
In preparation for the museum’s major fall exhibition, Fatimah Tuggar: Home’s Horizons, this summer’s theme is futuristic technology. The other movies in the series are WALL-E on July 25 and The Fifth Element on August 8.
Prior to each film, the museum will offer art-making activities and gallery tours beginning at 7 pm. Screenings will begin at dusk. Admission, parking, snacks, and beer (for those 21 and over) is free, and guests are invited to bring their own chairs and blankets. In the event of rain, the screenings will be moved indoors.
