At 2019 Nightmarket, the Taiwanese Cultural Organization Brought the Traditional Taiwanese Street Market to Wellesley
On March 8, members of the Wellesley community and beyond gathered in Tishman Commons for the annual Wellesley Taiwanese Cultural Organization (TCO) Nightmarket. Inspired by the spirit and excitement of the traditional Taiwanese nighttime street market, the event celebrates Taiwanese culture and food. This year featured a catered feast from Boston Taiwanese fusion restaurant Blue Asia—including rice balls, fried chicken, shaved ice, scallion pancakes, and boba—as well as games, a photo booth, and performances by student groups Wellesley Wushu and Wellesley Aiko. The main event was followed by a karaoke night in Punch’s Alley.
