A model of the new science center.
February 25, 2019

The reimagined Science Center is now on display for members of the Wellesley community in the Clapp Library. The 3D model of the center highlights the flexibility of the new building, created to encourage intellectual pursuits across multiple disciplines. A close observer will notice the seamless integration of the landscape and the numerous learning spaces. When the light pours in, the goal of the design becomes apparent: to allow students to engage with nature both indoors and out, following science in action.

Visit the Clapp Library for a tour of the model of this dynamic new space, and learn about the philosophy behind the building’s functionality on the sciences webpage.
