Wellesley Japan Club Hosted Annual Yuki Matsuri

On February 17, the Wellesley Japan Club hosted its annual Yuki Matsuri, a festival that brings together the Wellesley community in celebration of Japanese culture. The festival included dance and music performances from student groups, such as Wellesley Aiko, the College’s Japanese drum ensemble (taiko), booths and activities that combined traditional and popular cultures, and Japanese food prepared by local vendors. For four hours, on- and off-campus guests had the opportunity to visit Japan without taking a 14-hour flight.
