Alumnae, a Short Time Remains to Join the the Welcome Effort and Help Reach a 54 Percent Giving Participation Rate
For the past eight weeks, alumnae have been rallying together to welcome incoming president Dr. Paula A. Johnson to the Wellesley community on July 1. Hundreds of alumnae have shared the traditions, places, and experiences that they think make Wellesley Wellesley.
One long-standing Wellesley tradition is giving back. The alumnae community is working together to reach a record level of charitable giving participation in honor of President Johnson's arrival: 54 percent. Reaching this goal is a tangible and powerful way to not only welcome the new president but show her how committed alumnae are to keeping Wellesley strong.
There are just hours left before Dr. Johnson begins her tenure as Wellesley's 14th president, so today is the last day to be a part of this historic welcome effort. Alumnae, if you haven't made a gift to Wellesley since before July 1, 2015, please do—your participation is essential to helping us reach this goal.
Any amount counts and every gift is important. Last year, the 13,600 alumnae who gave gifts of $100 or less collectively contributed almost $700,000. Together, alumnae can achieve remarkable results. The success of this welcome effort depends on more alumnae making a gift by 11:59PM on June 30. Will you help us reach 54 percent?

Thank you to all who have already participated. We hope you will share this exciting news and inspire your Wellesley friends and classmates to join the effort to show our unified commitment to Wellesley's future. Track our community's progress at www.wellesley.edu/wellesleywelcome.
