Research & Instruction Librarian
I provide support for student and faculty research and learning through in-class instruction, individual and group consultations, workshops, and more. My subject areas include English, Comparative Literature, German, Italian, Russian, Spanish, French (Fall 2018), East Asian Languages and Cultures, Africana Studies, American Studies, Latin American Studies, and Cognitive and Linguistic Sciences.
I earned my B.A. in German and History from Wellesley College, where my first work-study job was in the Clapp Library. I eventually went on to get an M.A. in German Literature from the University of Minnesota and an M.S. in Library and Information Science from Simmons College. I taught German for several years (including three semesters at Wellesley) and also worked as a language textbook editor before making the transition to libraries.
