
Reading and Conversation with Karla Cornejo Villavicencio
Karla Cornejo Villavicencio is the author of Catalina (2024), which was longlisted for the 2024 National Book Award for Fiction; and The Undocumented Americans (2021), also a finalist for the Naiona; Book Award. Her work, which focuses on race, culture, and immigration, has appeared in The New York Times, The New Yorker, Vogue, Elle, n+1, The New Inquiry, and on NPR.
Karla will be in conversation with Irene Mata, Director of the Newhouse Center for the Humanities. Free copies of Catalina will be given to the first 30 students in attendance.
