MacArthur “Genius” Grant recipient Suzan-Lori Parks took it upon herself to write a play a day for an entire year, inviting theatres across the landscape of America to pass the torch of producing these works for 52 straight weeks. Some funny, some harrowing, some surprisingly familiar, some seemingly unstage-able, each short piece (of the 30 curated plays that we will stage) presents a wonderful canvas for our interpretation, using all the techniques and imagination that live theatrical performance can demand.

In-person performances are open to Wellesley College faculty, staff, and students only. Friends, family, and public may register for a live-stream link for Saturday showings only. Reserve a free ticket at 365plays.brownpapertickets.com.

Show times:

  • Friday, December 10, 7 p.m.
  • Saturday, December 11, 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. (livestream available)
