This concert by the Collegium Musicum will feature students playing music from Renaissance courts on Wellesley’s unique collection of early instruments. Their repertory reflects the cross-currents around 1500 when Franco-Flemish composers found work in Italy and Italian musicians crossed the Alps, influencing the development of the madrigal and polyphonic consort music in England.
