President Johnson invited all members of the community—Wellesley students, faculty, staff, and alumnae—to join a special webinar in celebration of this weekend’s historic election of our nation’s first woman vice president.

This panel-style community conversation included Teran Chapis ’22, chair of the Committee for Political and Legislative Awareness; Tatiana Ivy Moise ’21, College Government president; Michael Jeffries, dean of academic affairs and professor of American studies; and Kellie Carter Jackson, assistant professor of Africana studies. We are also thrilled to be joined by GBH host and producer Callie Crossley ’73. Panelists will reflected upon the historic 2020 presidential election, invited questions from the community, and discussed where to go from here.
