The Jazz and World Music faculty of Wellesley College present an evening dedicated to interpretations of one of America’s greatest cultural treasures: the blues. Through innovative arrangements of classic blues and original blues compositions, Wellesley’s vibrant Jazz and World Music faculty celebrate the enduring relevance of the blues in our time. Featuring Kris Adams, Tom Duprey, Mark Hamilton, Mark Henry, Russell Hoffmann, Steven Kirby, Steve Langone, Lance Martin, Cercie Miller, Kera Washington, and Paula Zeitlin. A reception will follow the performance.
