Daily tous les jours at Work Every Day
Note: The date and time of this event has been changed.
Daily tous les jours is a Montreal-based interaction design studio with a focus on collective experiences, founded in 2010 by Mouna Andraos and Melissa Mongiat. It leads multidisciplinary projects at the intersection of interaction design and narrative environments. Many of the studio's projects focus on collective experiences in public spaces; they are opportunities to enable change, stimulate engagement that sparks conversations amongst strangers and creates strong bonds between citizens and their environment. Led by members of the Daily tous les jours team, this residency will walk students through the process of creating an interactive sound installation. A public presentation of Daily tous les jours’ own past work will take place on their first visit, followed by work with students in class and studio time. Their second visit will focus on the building of a prototype of the students’ idea and its temporary deployment on the grounds of the College, with a presentation and reception for the public on Saturday, March 17 at 6:30 pm.
Residency generously supported by the Marjorie Copland Baum Memorial Fund and the Florence Jeup Ford ’22, Mary M. Crawford ’22, and Virginia Ford ’48 Artist in Residence Endowment Fund.
