This exhibition highlights postwar works on paper and sculpture acquired by the Davis Museum and Cultural Center during the last year. These acquisitions augment the scope and excellence of the museum’s permanent collection with strong individual pieces or series by artists considered significant contributors to contemporary art production, from Robert Mangold to Jenny Holzer. The second in a series of small shows dedicated to displaying new additions to the museum’s permanent collection, the exhibition succeeds a Fall 2002 presentation of earlier works on paper.
