The Davis Museum offers customized K-12 school group gallery experiences during weekday open hours, Tuesday through Friday from 11 AM to 5 PM. Our museum education staff and specially-trained Student Guides engage students with the Davis’s distinctive permanent collections and its special temporary exhibitions through exciting dialogue-based and participatory experiences. Programs are free with advance registration (at least 2 weeks notice).  Educators are encouraged to apply for our School Bus Subsidy, generously funded by the Palley Endowment Fund for Davis Museum Outreach Programs.

Gallery experiences are customized according to your curriculum, and cover either special exhibitions or the permanent collections. THE PALLEY SCHOOL BUS SUBSIDY PROGRAM
With the support of the Palley Endowment Fund for Davis Museum Outreach Programs, made possible through the generosity of Simon Palley and Mildred Goldsmith Palley ’78, the Davis’s Bus Subsidy Program is available to defray any K-12 school’s transportation costs, but must be requested in advance along with a group reservation. Applications are considered on a rolling basis and awards are based on fund availability. 

Steps for applying for a bus subsidy:

1: Contact Dr. Semente at ap120@wellesley.edu or call 781.283.2045 to schedule your visit.

2: VISIT THE DAVIS MUSEUM with your group. We can only reimburse schools or pay bus companies AFTER your group has visited.

3: Complete the following online form.

4: There are two options to receive payment for invoices.

a. Receive payment via credit card

b. Register as a vendor through Wellesley College.
