Wellesley BEAM:
Business, Entrepreneurship, and Money Management

Thanks to the generosity of Lois D. Juliber ’71, the new Wellesley College BEAM initiative and portfolio of programs is launching this fall covering three main areas:

Business: Through programming including a speaker series and workshops, BEAM will expose students to emerging and high-growth fields, inspiring them to shape the future of business and its role in society across industries.

Entrepreneurship: Students will have opportunities to cultivate a growth mindset, expand their entrepreneurial thinking, explore business planning, and gain experience interning with startups.

Money Management: Financial literacy workshops and training will soon roll out across campus to ensure students are empowered to pursue future career pathways as financially savvy graduates.

BEAM
We use the term ‘financial empowerment’ a lot. This is certainly not investing or how-to-get-rich training. It’s: How do I make responsible decisions and set myself up to have options.
