Previous experience with Civic Engagement (before and during Wellesley)

I've volunteered primarily in schools and shelters throughout high school and college. At Wellesley, I've been involved with the Framingham After-School Program, RoboGals, and Wellesley-Boston Healthcare for the Homeless. Most recently, I worked with AmeriCorps.

Current campus engagement (clubs, leadership roles, etc.)

What are you passionate about? (in the realm of Civic Engagement)

I want to have as many students participating in Civic Engagement as possible! It's a great way to foster community on campus as well as build relationships between campus and other communities. My favorite thing about Civic Engagement is that anyone can join--there is truly something for everyone, and everyone can make a valuable contribution.

What keeps your inner fire blazing?

If I'm ever having a difficult time during service, I focus on my conversations with people--they always make me realize (a) how much I have to learn and (b) how fortunate I am to have people around me who are willing to help me grow and allow me to be in their lives.

What is your most controversial take on food?

Mint (in any form) is just not for me! :(
