Mercedes Aponte is Wellesley Career Education's Associate Director of Civic Engagement. She joins Wellesley from the New England Aquarium where she served as a Volunteer Engagement Specialist, and previously she spent several years at Crossroads MA as a Community Action Coordinator. Mercedes is a graduate of Bryn Mawr College where she majored in Geology and was a Posse Scholar.
