Story Tables
Story Tables were one of the most innovative elements of the conference.
The goal of this first-of-its-kind conference was to help women advance to positions of global leadership, and our Story Tables advanced that goal with a fresh, dynamic format. This midday event was devoted to small-group discussions during which the 10 women at each table engaged one another in addressing various themes around the topic of leadership for women and its challenges in each of our cultures. We gathered hundreds of remarkable insights from personal experience.
Each table's insights, comments, and conclusions were captured and briefly presented to the larger audience at the end of the session. The work will also be included as part of the formal proceedings to be distributed at both sponsoring institutions—and beyond—following the conference.
