Session 4: Story Tables—Understanding Leadership through the Stories of Women Leaders
Hosted by Susan Harmon, Former Managing Director, Public Radio Capital. Story Table leaders shared personal stories to stimulate an exchange about leadership among the women at their table. This mutual sharing generated discussion of the challenges faced by women who hold or seek leadership roles. Discussion included where leaders find inspiration, the ethics of leadership, and the value of and approaches to mentoring. In addition to the Story Table leaders, every table included at least one student. The session ended with individual tables presenting one important idea from their discussions.
