Mr. Wang Changyuan currently serves as the executive deputy secretary general at the China Association of Mayors (CAM). Prior to this, he served at the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Construction of the People's Republic of China. During his tenure at the CAM, Wang has worked in a variety of roles supervising research, training, and international cooperation. He also founded and led the Beijing Chengsi Public Affairs Cooperation, and served as the deputy director of the International Sciences and on the Peace Week Committee.

Wang has long been involved in the research and organization of the China City Development Report for the United Nations Human Settlements Programme. He serves as the executive and director of the Working Committee.

Wang earned his B.A. from China Foreign Affairs University, his M.B.A. from China Europe International Business School, and has been a visiting scholar at the School of Forestry and Environmental Studies at Yale University.

Mr. Wang will serve as a distinguished visiting professor for the Wellesley/Peking University academic program.
