Professor Su is a professor in the Department of Psychology at Peking University. She completed her undergraduate and postgraduate training at Peking University, holding double bachelor’s degrees in psychology and sociology (1987) and a doctoral degree in psychology (1992). She is now the director of the Biological Psychology Laboratory.
She teaches Developmental Psychology, Functional Anatomy of the Central Nervous System, Comparative Psychology (Animal Psychology), and Environmental Psychology to undergraduates; and a seminar on Developmental Psychology and Comparative Psychology to graduates.
Her research is wide ranging and Professor Su has published more than 100 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters on various topics ranging from animal behavior to child development. She has also been the general secretary of the Beijing Association of Psychology since 1998. In addition, she serves on the editorial boards of two local psychology journals and as the associate dean of Yuanpei College of Peking University.
