In the summer of 2019, Zara worked as a Social Science Fellowship intern, where she researched issues regarding environmental economics, energy politics and green innovation. Zara spent the fall of her junior year in Prague, Czech Republic; in addition to her studies there, she attended academic seminars in Poland and Austria. On campus Zara works at the Art Library and is apart of the events committee for WZLY, Wellesley College’s radio station. Zara also works remotely, designing escape room puzzles for a local company. She has a working knowledge of Arabic and Czech. Zara’s goal upon graduation is to work for an international firm or start up, preferably focusing on furthering environmental standards.
