Sylvia Nica
Sylvia is a junior double-majoring in English and Italian studies.

In the summer of 2023, Sylvia served as a Girls Who Invest Scholar, where she learned core finance and investment concepts taught by leading business school professors, and then interned with MetLife Investment Management. Sylvia is spending her junior fall studying abroad at Oxford University, and her junior spring at the University of Bologna, Italy; in addition to her studies there, she is a Fall 2023 Paulson International Study Fellow, where she will engage with the natural space and work with local organizations centered on environmental justice and sustainability. Sylvia previously interned with the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice, Italy. She has native Romanian proficiency and intermediate Italian knowledge. Sylvia's goal upon graduation is to work with an international organization to spur climate awareness, preferably through literature or sustainable investing.
