In the summer of 2024, Svetlana worked as an intern within the International Students Office at the American University in Bulgaria. There, she provided administrative support in assisting new international students with obtaining visas and designed programs to promote cultural diplomacy. On campus, she serves as a student manager for Media Services, a team leader for the Hillary Rodham Clinton Center, and is active in the college government. She has a working knowledge of Spanish and is actively improving her Bulgarian. Upon graduation, Svetlana’s goal is to improve US foreign policy through bureaucratic politics and operations.
